In today's episode of “The Art of Successful Living,” Joanne Williams looks at Mark 15:33-34 that tells us Jesus’ last seven words on the cross. Jesus reveals his humanity as he cries out “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” This verse provides a symbol of moral darkness, a fulfillment of prophecy and the father’s judgement on the sins of the world. Because Jesus atoned sacrifice, God can freely offer us forgiveness and grace.
